We're a husband and wife photography duo living in St. George, Utah. Our boutique studio was born out of a desire to build a creative life together, one with storytelling at its heart. We adore capturing honest stories about real people, and nothing lets us do that better than wedding photography. Click the circles below to learn more about our inner nerds.
My favorite holiday will always be Thanksgiving. There's nothing like gathering with family and homemade cranberry sauce. But afterward, stick a fork in me ... I'm done.
I can’t cook a meal without experimenting. Give me a new recipe or a surprise ingredient and I’m in heaven. However, my friends tell me I'm the slowest cook ever.
As a lowly, beard-less photo tech at the St. George Spectrum, I developed film and begged for assignments. Shooting for newspapers in California, I met new people and new ways to tell stories every day. I still struggle to grow a proper beard.

Growing up in Santa Clara, I used to explore all the time. Now that we've moved back to Southern Utah, Ingrid and I are making it a point to go #sundaysploring whenever we can.
In true Hollywood fashion, we met on a student film set in Los Angeles. Russell was the cinematographer and Ingrid worked in the art department.
We love to dress up for Halloween ... and when we do, we go all out. That's us as Futurama's Leela and Zapp Brannigan.
We love cooking up a storm and feasting with friends. Russell is master of the stir fry and Ingrid is a baking maestro. Ask her about her creme brulee!
When we got engaged ... we called our favorite captain and announced it with an intergalactic bang. Trekkies for life!
We love cheesy 80's movies, and Back to the Future is our favorite. We'll neither confirm nor deny that the Back to the Future theme song was played at our wedding ... Okay, it totally was.
Our favorite adventures happen off the beaten path. What’s at the end of this road? A hidden door? A secret garden? As Roald Dahl once said, "If you don't believe in magic, you'll never find it."
Not only have I dyed my hair every color of the rainbow, I’ve created a Color Thesaurus with over a thousand color names.
The first thing I do every day is write. I love the creative energy of the morning, when it’s just me, my characters, and a hazelnut coffee.
I grew up in Maine, where my backyard was Acadia National Park. Now, I’ve found a home away from home in the red rocks of Zion and Snow Canyon.
I can’t stop collecting Ugly Dolls!
Russell got a Kitchenaid ice cream attachment for my birthday and now I'm obsessed with homemade ice cream! Who wants blueberry basil or double caramel chocolate fudge?
