Descanso Gardens Family Portraits
Descanso Gardens in La Canada Flintridge is an absolute gold mine for family portraits: the sprawling garden is filled with magnificent oaks, rose and camellia bushes, duck ponds, and blooming trees. There’s also a ton of wildlife running around, from turtles to squirrels to blue jays and geese.
In fact, our recent family portrait session with the Cruickshank family was photo-bombed by some adorable baby geese and their parents. It’s way too cute to see these two little kids surrounded by baby geese-lings.
There’s also a mini-train that runs the grounds of Descanso. It turns out young Deven adores trains. He spent every moment he could walking the tracks with his father. Perhaps this dashing young lad will grow up to be a train conductor one day.
