Our New Look!

*Roll out the red carpet. Cue the dramatic music.*

And … VOILA!

Russell and I are proud to present our new website! (Yep, you’re on it right now!)

We hope you’ll take a moment to explore the site, because there’s plenty to see. What’s new, you ask?

1) Nip and tuck. We’ve updated our overall look with a bright, modern, and airy style.

2) Variety is the spice of life. We’ve added a comprehensive look at the various work Russell covers, from weddings and events, to family and senior portraits! We’ve got nine new portfolios that show off what we can do.

3) Complete photo stories. Instead of highlighting only a couple images from each wedding, we show off our storytelling approach to photography. Our photo stories allow you to see an entire wedding from beginning to end:  you’ll see the pep-talk before the bride walks down the aisle, the kid who fell asleep during the ceremony, or Auntie busting a move on the dance floor … all in a day’s work. We’ve picked nine memorable weddings to share, ranging from an intimate one accessible only by boat, to another that had the couple dancing in Central Park, to an event fit for a king in which the groom arrived on a magnificent white horse!

4) It’s easy to socialize. We love pinning, tweeting, and sharing updates. Do you? Now it’s super easy to browse and share images and ideas with our customized social networking buttons.

5) Do you Photobooth? Russell has created his own custom “open air” photo-box for weddings and events! Learn more about this fabulous new offering on our photobooth page! Lights… Camera…  Instant photo-strips!

6) Who wants cake? If you know me at all, you know I love to bake. See if you can find the deeeeeeeeelicous cupcake recipe “Easter egg” hidden somewhere on the site. But you’ll have to look around to find it!

We’re really excited about our new look! We especially want to thank Zbra Studios (designers Zoey and Kelly and their wonderful programmers), who wrangled all the pieces of the infrastructure, dealt with all that yucky coding stuff, and basically kept Russell from pulling out his hair.

We’d love to know what you think … leave a comment below, and happy exploring!
