It’s December and I’m sure the last thing you’re thinking about is taking a splash in the pool. But as the chilly winter air tickles your neck, dreams of tropical locations and sipping drinks by the pool might start to sound preeeeeety nice.

Last week we shared the images from the Cabo San Lucas destination wedding we photographed last summer. Destination weddings are a great way to combine a vacation with the celebration. And with a photographer already on-site for your wedding, you may as well have them capture some of the other weekend events as well. Like say … your awesome pool party before the rehearsal dinner!

For this couple’s destination wedding we did exactly that! We dipped our toes in the water, poolside at the Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Golf and Spa Resort with our cameras in hand, as the bride and groom hung out with their friends!
