What’s the best way to make sure your fiancee doesn’t forget your anniversary? Get hitched on the 4th of July! That’s exactly what Jessica and Chris did this past weekend aboard the Scarlett Belle Riverboat in the Channel Islands Harbor, in Oxnard, CA.

Wanting to see the bride for the first time when she walked down the aisle, Chris and Jessica riffed on the idea of a first look by blindfolding him and having a “first touch” instead, with all of their bridal party nearby. It was such a silly and fun way for them to connect before the big event. It’s extra fun when your best man gives you a pair of rockin’ sunglasses to wear over your blindfold!

Later, the couple couldn’t have dreamed of a better view of the fireworks than aboard the Scarlett Belle, sitting in the middle of the harbor … just take a peek at that breathtaking view below!
