Yes, I’m gonna talk about lace today. I know you’re probably frowning and conjuring up images of overstuffed old ladies in lace turtlenecks. Or maybe Lady Gaga’s lace-gone-wild masquerade monstrosity is bouncing through your head: Gaga Picture #1 , Gaga Picture #2. But — though it has been known to alert the fashion police — it can be used for good instead of evil. In fact, a little flirty filigree can add a lot of elegance to your big day. Not to mention the new Great Gatsby movie is already inspiring wedding dresses. Perhaps lace is here to stay.
