We're absolutely over-the-moon for this roaring 20's backyard wedding in Southern California.

Backyard weddings are so intimate. We’ve photographed such lovely, heartfelt ones in both St. George and Los Angeles; they always remind us of the whole point of getting married in the first place: family and unity.

Sheena and Nick are both creative artists, and their old-Hollywood wedding was the cat’s pajamas. Every detail made us feel like we were at an extravagant Great Gatsby party from Fitzgerald’s novel. Not to mention: the creativity of this family is absolutely astounding. The mother-of-the-bride hand-sewed all the napkins, created a grand marquee sign, and made the stained glass window hung from the ceremony arbor. Wowsers! Personal touches like these are what make a wedding unique and so incredibly special.

Darlings, put on your dancing shoes ... this is gonna be one dapper event!
