Hello everyone!

Ingrid Sundberg here. I’m the new purple-haired brilliant blog-tress of Russell Gearhart Photography! I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself, as you’ll see me tweeting, blogging, pinning, and posting all over the RGP social media sphere.

I’ve worked behind the scenes at Russell Gearhart Photography for over a year as a graphic designer, creating custom wedding albums, designing promotion materials, and occasionally working on-site as Russell’s photo assistant during shoots. I love working for this company, because Russell really cares about creating an authentic experience. I’m constantly impressed with Russell’s experience and knowledge – not only in how to take a great picture – but in capturing honest moments in his clients’ lives. It’s a joy to be the one to share those moments with you on this blog, and to design with them when creating albums.

1. I have dyed my hair every color of the rainbow, and shaved my head bald.

2. I love to bake and decorate cakes.

3. I will always choose Twizzlers over Red Vines.

4. I’m getting my MFA in writing for children and young adults. Hopefully one day you’ll see my books in print.

5. I grew up in Maine, where none of the things Stephen King writes about have ever come true.

6. I have a background in illustration and design, and I was an art and design teacher for five years.

7. I’m partial to drawing silly monsters with horns and polka dots.

8. Right now I’m obsessed with Dr. Who and would like my own personal Tardis.

9. I cannot play the guitar, the piano, or any musical instrument without scaring small children.

10. What’s my natural hair color? Why it’s purple, of course!
