Pasadena Outdoor Family Portraits: The Medranos
We love to do Pasadena outdoor family portraits. Especially when the trees are full of color! Gorgeous leaves and a dazzling family like the Medranos, can make silver skies feel absolutely regal.
I find myself wanting to use the word dynasty to talk about this beautiful family. There’s something in their calm presence and sophisticated manor that makes you want to sit up straight and smile.
These images were taken in December, but it feels like autumn with those red and orange leaves!
My favorite moment from this session was this adorable kiss that papa Medrano gave mama Medrano. I’m told a kiss like this has never been caught on film! This image has become very special to the family. It’s moments like this one that really make photographing families so rewarding.
I love how joyful all these siblings are together.

This is a stunning image of all the men in the Medrano family.
Mama Medrano told us that she had a bench just like this one at home. Of course, we had to take a couple images of her and her hubby on that bench.
Even with their kids all grown up, these two are a stunning couple! It was an absolute pleasure to photograph this lovely group.
