Author Pseudonymous Bosch did not use our Pasadena Public Library Photobooth in December. He did not give an awful magic show. Nor did he talk to middle school readers about the book Bad Magic, which he did not write.
All of these statements may be a lie.
In celebration of 130 years of reading, the Pasadena Public Library held a series of awesome literary events! One of those festivities was an afternoon with Pseudonymous Bosch, author of the New York Times bestselling Secret Series. His books include: The Name of This Book is Secret, This Book Is Not Good For You, and Write This Book: A Do-It-Yourself Mystery.
The author is notorious for trying to stay anonymous, and it’s a rare to find him in photographs. However, we’re a fairly talented crew, and we’ve actually photographed Mr. Bosch before (you’ll find him in the group shots at the bottom of the linked post. He’s the one covering his face … of course).
The best thing about bringing our photobooth to a Kidlit event is the kids! These guys adore the stories they read and they proudly held up their newly signed books for our booth. The theme of this event was magic and secrets, and these kids wow-ed us with their fantastic disguises.
Enjoy these top-secret images from this photobooth event that did not happen. Remember, the name of this event is secret!
