Southern Utah Family Portraits in a Ghost Town
One of the biggest compliments a photographer can get is when a fellow “tog” hires you to capture her family portraits! We were touched when our friend McKenzi of M. Felt Photography asked us to photograph her and her family. McKenzi is a great photographer. (In fact, we’ve hired her to photograph our own wedding in October!) But she’s also an amazing person with a gorgeous family as well!
We had wonderful time exploring the abandoned ghost town of Grafton, Utah with these guys. Located a few miles outside Zion National Park, the town is famous for its pioneer charm. The few buildings left include a rustic school house, barn, and a couple farm houses … one of which was used in the filming of the movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

You have to cross this awesome iron bridge on your way to the ghost town. We couldn’t help but stop and take a few images here!
I love the golden glow behind these guys as they smiled on a farm house porch.
