I absolutely adore this Manhattan Beach Marriott South Indian Wedding. In fact, it’s one of my all-time favorite Indian weddings that Russell’s photographed. You’ll understand why when we get to the “games” section of the ceremony. You can’t help but fall in love with the silliness and fun of this couple. How awesome is it to cover your new husband or wife with glitter and beads and rice? It makes for lots of laughter and some dang-fun images!

Russell arrived before sunrise for this Manhattan Beach Marriott morning wedding. Mist rose over the golf course as the sun broke the horizon.

The jewelry at Indian weddings is always stunning. I can’t get enough of the elaborate hair covering this bride wore.

The Manhattan Beach Marriott ceremony site was colorful and dazzling. The morning light created a gorgeous mixture of blue and green and gold!

A symbolic offering is built between the two families. It consists of water, leaves, and coconut.

I love this part of the ceremony. The bride and groom play games to celebrate the union of their families!

The bride and groom drop handfuls of sequins, beads, glitter, and rice onto one another’s heads. So much fun!

How about a whole bowl of rice on the groom? Love it!

After the games, the couple performs the Seven Steps ritual.

Indian weddings are always full of beautiful traditions, gorgeous colors, and lots of celebration. I can’t get enough of these two and their childlike spirit. Congratulations to the happy couple!
