We love sharing sneak-peeks of our couple’s weddings. But this week, we get the once-in-a-lifetime-opportunity to share a sneak-peek of our own wedding!
It’s true! After twelve years of dating, Russell and I finally tied the knot on October 3rd. We had an awesome destination wedding at Clear Creek Family Ranch in Orderville, Utah. The ranch is located just outside Zion National Park, and is a hop-skip from Russell’s hometown of St.George. Thanks to those who busted their butts to put it together, it was the perfect blend of rustic-barn romance and wedding whimsy … just check out those fairy wings I wore down the aisle!
We run a wedding photography company, so you can imagine the number one question we received during wedding planning was:
“Who’s photographing your wedding?”
As you’ll see from the selfie at the altar, Russell couldn’t help himself from taking at least one wedding image. But, it turns out finding the perfect photographers for our wedding was one of the easiest wedding decisions we made. We chose people we work with … ladies we trust and know can create knockout images. Plus they’re super fun to spend wedding day with!
Our photographers were Kelli Maguire of KelliMac Images and McKenzi Felt-Dye of M. Felt Photography. If you’ve ever hired a second photographer with Russell Gearhart Photography, you’ve likely met Kelli. She’s our go-to second shooter for our Los Angeles events. Russell has also worked with McKenzi, as she used to live in Los Angeles. However, she’s moved back to St.George, Utah in the last few years, where she’s killing it in the wedding photography world. Lucky southern Utah, you get to have her talents! McKenzi also took our engagement portraits.
We are so blessed to have had these two lovely ladies capture our wedding. Please enjoy this sneak peek of our big day!
Russell couldn’t attend his own wedding without taking at least on photo himself. Here’s the “wedding photographer selfie” he took at the altar!
We did it … We’re man and wife!
There’s so many people to thank for this awesome day. Here’s a huge shout out to all the vendors who helped make this wedding happen:
