The Tivoli Terrace Wedding Chapel in Laguna Beach is one of the most artistic places we’ve photographed in Orange County. Of course, Laguna Beach is a mecca for the creative spirit. The hanging stained glass windows and facade of doors decorating the ceremony space was absolutely perfect for an off-beat couple like Terra and Kyle. These two mix Orange County good looks with colorful tattoos and rockin’ retro-style.
Laguna Beach is also a gorgeous place for portraits. When I think of dazzling Southern California beaches, Laguna Beach comes to mind as the most romantic. Salt air played with the brides hair as the couple shared a private first look before the ceremony. Heck, we didn’t even have to touch the sand to capture the luminous sun shining off the ocean. There’s an essence of beauty in Laguna. It’s something effortless and incandescent.
Terra, the bride, also happens to be the step-daughter of our favorite associate photographer Kelli. It’s always a huge compliment when a fellow photographer hires you to capture one of the most important days in their child’s life.
Please enjoy the wedding story of this rockin’ couple:

The groom helps his twin brother (the best man) get into his suit.

You’ve gotta get out the cell phones to take a few images of this handsome group.

I’m in love with this colorful sleeve tattoo on the bride. She picked the perfect Alfred Angelo dress to show it off.

Hello, gorgeous!

Calling GQ, we’ve got the summer fashion spread for you!

First looks are the best. They’re always so personal.

Did I mention how much I love this couple’s tattoos? That clock tattoo on the groom’s hand is awesome.

Laguna Beach never disappoints.

The Tivoli Terrace Wedding Chapel feels like a tree house of creativity. It’s like we’ve walked into an eclectic Neverland of stained glass windows, lanterns, and statues.

A beautiful bouquet by Oceanic Flowers.

Laughter, my absolute favorite part of any wedding.

Man and wife! Woot! Woot!

The Trivoli Terrace reception area feels like an Italian garden. Guests are surrounded by fountains held up by moss-covered cherubs, while string lights sparkle in the trees.

The tables were designed in elegant tones purple, pink, and grey.

The Trivoli Terrace also has the most darling gazebo to display the cake.

A dramatic dip during the first dance.

I want this lavender hair!

Are you a fan of Where’s Waldo? See if you can find Russell in one of these images.

Congratulations Terra + Kyle!
