Wedding Inspiration Board: A Feast of Color

Many couples choose only two colors for their wedding. But why limit yourself? Creating harmony with color is the name of the game, no matter how many colors you choose.

The design of this Indian wedding in Carlsbad, California, fully embraced a love of color. Red and gold was a traditional main color choice, focusing the eye on their mandap (stage) of silken fabric with velvet-red thrones. Swirls of magenta and pink flower petals lined the aisle, and were framed by hanging baskets blooming with buds of violet and coral.

Meanwhile, the bridesmaids accented the event with pops of yellow and teal, found on their beaded sari’s and chrysanthemum bouquets. Detailed patterns and fabrics covered the grounds, making this wedding a delicious and colorful feast! This wedding ended up with eight (yes, I said eight!) magnificent colors!

Sometimes more is more!
